18:27. ଏଲିଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପରିହାସ କରି କହିଲେ, "ଯଦି ବାଲ୍ ସତ୍ଯ ଦବେତା, ତବେେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ବର ରେ ଡାକ, ସେ ହୁଏତ ଧ୍ଯାନ କରୁଥିବ କିମ୍ବା ବାହାରକୁ ୟାଇଥିବ, କିମ୍ବା ୟାତ୍ରା କରୁଥିବ, ଅବା ସେ ନିଦ୍ରିତ ଥିବ, ଏଣୁ ତାକୁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ କରିବାକୁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ବର ରେ ଡାକ।"

18:27. At noon Elijah mocked them, "Yell louder! After all, he is a god; he may be deep in thought, or perhaps he stepped out for a moment or has taken a trip. Perhaps he is sleeping and needs to be awakened."

18:27. About noontime Elijah began mocking them. "You'll have to shout louder," he scoffed, "for surely he is a god! Perhaps he is daydreaming, or is relieving himself. Or maybe he is away on a trip, or is asleep and needs to be wakened!"

18:27. And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud; for he is a god: either he is musing, or he is gone aside, or he is on a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth and must be awaked.

18:27. And at noon Elijah mocked them, saying, "Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened."

18:27. And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he [is] a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, [or] peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.

18:27. And it cometh to pass, at noon, that Elijah playeth on them, and saith, `Call with a loud voice, for he [is] a god, for he is meditating, or pursuing, or on a journey; it may be he is asleep, an doth awake.`

18:27. At noon Elijah began to make fun of them. He said, "If Baal really is a god, maybe you should pray louder! Maybe he is busy. Maybe he is thinking about something, or maybe he stepped out for a moment! He could be sleeping! Maybe you should pray louder and wake him up!"

18:27. It happened at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud; for he is a god: either he is musing, or he is gone aside, or he is on a journey, or peradventure he sleeps and must be awakened.
